In 2023, the lighting of the city museum underwent an upgrade that will make you speechless. All lighting was converted to intelligently controlled high-quality LED lighting from the German company Hoffmeister.
The lighting in the museum is composed of modular suspended structures. These structures integrate different techniques: indirect general lighting, direct accent lighting for the collections, motion detection and sound.
The lighting is individually adjustable and controlled based on motion detectors. In this way, scenographers have complete design freedom in terms of lighting the collections and the light is only on when there are actually visitors.
In this way, the collection is properly illuminated and energy savings are maximized.
The emergency lighting was also fully updated. All emergency lighting fixtures were replaced by new fixtures with supercapacitors from the Finnish company Teknoware.
Result: up to 20 years without maintenance.
These emergency lights do not have polluting lithium batteries that need to be replaced and recycled every 5 years.
