Borgerstein in Sint-Katelijne Waver with its care for adults with intellectual disabilities, elderly care and social employment employs more than 600 people. The historic site is in the process of being transformed into an open and inviting green neighborhood.
Fosfari recommended and supplied the exterior lighting that connects the various buildings on the site. A combination of contemporary L-shaped low and high structures are alternating playfully.
Because the site is also permanently residential, glare from high lighting posts was to be avoided. Deeper LEDs combined with mirror reflectors reduce glare to a minimum.
